This is Madagascar πŸ‡²πŸ‡¬

Another #featurefriday from @sonny.royal looks like he and his friends travelled the island and captured some amazing shots. Words from @sonny.royal . . . This is a pair of Milne-Edwards’ sifakas (Propithecus edwardsi) during the late afternoon of our first day in Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar. Ranomafana (which means "hot water" in Malagasy) is doubtless one the most spectacular National Parks of Madagascar. Due to the maintained accessibility, great biodiversity including 12 lemur species, 115 species of birds and 62 species of reptiles found here, and developed infrastructures, it has become one of the most visited places of the island. Established in 1991 and part of the World Heritage Site Rainforests of the Atsinanana, Ranomafana expands over a mountainous terrain of 415 kmΒ² totally covered by dense moist primary and secondary forest at altitudes between 800m and 1200m. The park was sanctioned for the purpose of conserving the unique biodiversity and their habitats of the local ecosystem and reducing the human pressures on the protected area. . . . #ftzmadagascar #risemadagascar #lemursofinstagram #lemurs #sifaka #milneedwardssifaka #ranomafananationalpark #ranomofana #everydaymadagascar #endangeredspeciesday #conservation #madagascar #madagaskar
