First event from Saturday: 395lb yoke for 75ft. The yoke is my worst event by far but this was a huge yoke PR for me. I've never been able to do this distance without dropping it a million times! I always get too excited and take too big of steps, I need to take smaller steps so it can stay stable while building up speed ! Came second in this event! #yoke #superyoke #strongman

So here's the Hardcore Truth about flexible dieting..

For several years I've been extremely against it because of the "Dirty Eating". While not every carb is created equal there are ways to do everything, some just unconventional. Now I'm sure my way of "Flexible Dieting" is different than others but it works for me. As of yesterday I've stuck with it for a solid month and let's just say I went from eating 165g of Carbs to as of today, 260g of Carbs. Not only did my total calories significantly increase but the unexpected happened, I lost 3 inches in my waist doing absolutely ZERO cardio and staying the same weight (which means Ta Da!!! I'm Leaner). For me, that is enough to persuade me that there is a wrong and right way to do everything. Cheating your diet is cheating yourself. Stay consistent and things can work. A special Thank You to @lifebykrista  for helping me out and well yelling at me for what I was previously doing. Much appreciated!! 😂👊🏼

I have ate dairy based products such as cheese within that time. One day soon I know I'll be able to go 100% Vegan. I will just take some time. I have a separate fitness account and usually keep that separate from my personal one, but decided I would do a post on here for friends that don't follow the other. The first photos are from today, I am currently softer but am in off season to build a bit. The second and 3rd photos show comparisons from when I first started to get back into lifting after falling out of athletics and overcoming an eating disorder/body dysmorphia to me a few weeks ago/me on stage at my first show.

What these photos don't show are years of hard work, the tough times I've overcome thanks to the gym, and the mental/emotional strength that I've developed. Getting back into fitness was the best thing that I could have done for myself and it's not only helped me reshape my body but to grow immensely on a personal level as well.
