So it happened....that stomach bug that has been going around the school came home in the form of 🤢 yesterday...E wasn't keeping anything down but I knew probiotics would rebalance things QUICKLY so he took small amounts of this amazing powdered probiotic under his tongue and within hours the worst was behind us and he's eating normally today. I think he could have gone back to school...he disagreed...so it's board games and pajamas today and my boss gave me the day off no questions asked (I'm cool like that 😜)

RECIPE BELOW // Poached Salmon Salad with Dill Vinaigrette⠀

Have you experimented with poaching before? It's a foolproof method for cooking tender, flavorful meat and seafood. This recipe includes a bit of wine (don't worry, it cooks off!) in the poaching liquid for extra flavor.⠀

Salmon and salad:⠀
🌿 1 lb salmon filet, skinless and boneless⠀
🌿 1 cup white wine⠀
🌿 ½ cup water⠀
🌿 3 slices lemon⠀
🌿 1 medium cucumber⠀
🌿 Pinch sea salt⠀
🌿 5 cups thinly sliced romaine lettuce⠀
🌿 ¾ cup sliced celery⠀
⠀
Dill vinaigrette:⠀
🌿 ¼ cup olive oil⠀
🌿 1 tbsp lemon juice⠀
🌿 2 tsp white wine vinegar⠀
🌿 2 tbsp chopped dill⠀
🌿 2 tsp minced shallot⠀
🌿 1 tsp honey⠀
🌿 1 garlic clove, pressed or minced⠀
🌿 ¼ tsp sea salt⠀
⠀
👉 In a medium saucepan, combine the salmon, wine, water and lemon and bring to a boil over medium heat.⠀
👉 Immediately reduce the heat to a simmer and poach salmon for 5-7 minutes depending on thickness of the filet. Once salmon flakes easily, transfer to a cutting board to cool while you prepare the salad and vinaigrette. Discard the remaining ingredients in the saucepan.⠀
👉 Peel cucumber on all sides using a vegetable peeler into long, flat ribbons until you reach the seed center.⠀
👉 Place cucumber ribbons on paper towel and sprinkle with sea salt to extract moisture. After 10 minutes, pat the cucumber dry with additional paper towels.⠀
👉 Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients in a glass bowl until well combined.⠀
👉 In a large serving bowl, combine the lettuce, celery and cucumber ribbons with the vinaigrette. Gently toss in the flaked poached salmon. Serve with lemon slices on the side.⠀

The filling is strained yogurt made from 100% grass fed cows, lightly sweetened with pure maple, pasture nutrient rich eggs and topped with raw crème fraîche whipped with raw local honey 🐝 and grilled figs with a pomegranate balsamic glaze. 
Crust is made with @pragerbrothers graham crackers.
It takes a cheesecake for me to surrender to the change of tides.... Even Persephone must accept her fate... Thankfully we live in Southern California .... The story here is 3 seeds... 😎

Oh the horror! I finally find something that works, and I discover (yesterday) that I was down to my last 3 sachets. And I can say with absolute certainty that I desperately needed 2 yesterday, however i decided to save 2 for today as I had plans after work. So I was left with 1 sachet, + 2 (useless) mochas.

These #arbonne Energy Fizz Sticks are seriously the best thing I've ever tried, and considering I was almost always in a state of absolute exhaustion until trying them, that's really saying something. Oh the horror! I finally find something that works, and I discover (yesterday) that I was down to my last 3 sachets. And I can say with absolute certainty that I desperately needed 2 yesterday, however i decided to save 2 for today as I had plans after work. So I was left with 1 sachet, + 2 (useless) mochas.
