From a young age I have always been interested in living and moving towards a healthy life. My best friends lived super close so we would all meet at a corner in 8th grade and go for a run after school. One of my friends and I would even make dinner together occasionally and put together these super yummy salads. I know this is not a super common thing but I really have been interested in this stuff for a long time! Now I'm not saying I was super knowledgeable then nor did I eat this super balanced diet (I was still 14!) but that interest then has helped drive me and push me to the lifestyle I live today (along with my self confidence struggle and pcos like I've mentioned!)

Now that was a little bit of a story but I share it because I know it's not all that common to create that interest at such a young age and it can be VERY overwhelming to want to start eating healthier or exercising if you've never done it before and are not quite sure where or how to start. I'm not dietician nor a personal trainer (we will see where my studies take me!) but I want to share some places to make simple changes. Living a more balanced life doesn't mean you need to be in on the latest superfoods or buy all of your groceries from Whole Foods (although those are awesome!!) Starting simple can be adding more veggies, how to turn that quesadilla you make every night into something that offers your body a little more, or a few exercises to do everyday to get your body used to moving because it's all about creating little habits! I'll be sharing ideas over the next few weeks and I hope you enjoy!

That saying has always struck a chord with me because it's true...so true. Wanting and wishing are two very different things. One major difference, if you work for it you #makeithappen. πŸ™Œ

I spend my days having conversations with people, #connecting with them, and #learning about them. My goal is to help as many people as I can #achieve what they thought they couldn't. To help them see their worth and help them realize how important their health is. It breaks my heart when health and wellness is not a priority for others πŸ’”, but I also realize that you can only help the ones that want the help when they're ready.

I was one of those...someone who wasn't to be pushed or was unwilling to make changes. I was not going to seek help or invest in myself until I was truly ready. And then finally I was.πŸ’« The last several week's and particularly the last week have solidified for me how essential it was for myself and my family to invest in my health. So thankful I finally said yes to myself and have the opportunity to pay it forward in helping others.❀

Can't ever "judge a book by its cover" why? Because you don't know shit about the beginning, middle and the pages that have yet to be written. People never believe me when I tell them that I was once 250 lbs girl.  They always say "no way, I would have NEVER known if you didn't tell me" and I take that as a compliment because I have put in a lot of time and worked my ass off to maintain a 115 lbs weight loss, tighten/tone(as much as I can) sculpt lean muscle and basically redo my ENTIRE frame. Oh and NO surgeries 🚫 all this Did not happen over night. Lots of trial and error(s), lots of pages written, if you will. 😊 We are all the authors of our stories! Results time for this transformation Tuesday πŸ™Œ

Last month I worked through a new program with my amazing group. I also {loosely πŸ’} followed the meal plan which was a bit strict for my flavor. Here are my results after 21 days. Big diff?? Nothing earth shattering right? However, there is a difference. πŸ‘€

Nowadays I do these programs to build muscle and to see what I am capable of. There is not going to be HUGE drastic changes for me because that transformation has already happened. Over a year ago I was 60lbs heavier πŸ‘‰ flash forward to today and I have me some abs forming πŸ‘

If you look at this and think "well she is already fit" then I urge you to take a closer look through my feed because the "fit" me is after a lot work, habit swaps, and a long road of personal development. If you think you can't I am here to tell you that you can, let's do it together.

If you look at this and think "there isn't that much change over a month" then go back through my feed and take a look at the month long journey I shared. I found over a year ago that "me" time was best spent working on myself. Pushing play on a #focused 30 minute workout at home quickly became my stress reliever, my quiet time, my #anxiety antidote, my feel good moment.✨

This focus on "me" has allowed me to be more present and happy all while losing weight, building muscle, and learning to love all of myself.

I never realized how much fitness and exercise have affected my overall well-being until this past week. It has been a solid 9 days since I have done any activity outside of walking or chasing kiddos and I FEEL every ounce.

I feel the drag, I feel the anxiety, I feel the pull of wanting to just melt into the couch, but I also feel how good I feel when I choose the #healthier me. πŸ™Œ

Transformations: noun; a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance πŸ’«

Transformation means an awful lot to me. The meaning is strong. The meaning is powerful. And the proof can be eye opening. Sometimes it's about seeing first before you believe it even though transformations begin to happen as soon as you take the steps forward.
. 
Today's transformation post is the difference a year can make. Photo 1 on the left was taken on my birthday last year. Photo 2 on the right was taken last week. While I had already begun to transform, lose weight, and make changes a year ago πŸ‘‰ well see the difference a year can make?

Never judge a story by the chapter you walked in on. I share these transformations as a reminder that I wasn't always where I am now. I shate these transformations as motivation to you. I promise it's possible if you want it and once you get it it's worth holding on to because the #transformation is rewarding.

Transformations: noun; a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance πŸ’«

Transformation means an awful lot to me. The meaning is strong. The meaning is powerful. And the proof can be eye opening. Sometimes it's about seeing first before you believe it even though transformations begin to happen as soon as you take the steps forward.

Today's transformation post is the difference a year can make. Photo 1 on the left was taken on my birthday last year. Photo 2 on the right was taken last week. While I had already begun to transform, lose weight, and make changes a year ago πŸ‘‰ well see the difference a year can make?

Never judge a story by the chapter you walked in on. I share these transformations as a reminder that I wasn't always where I am now. I shate these transformations as motivation to you. I promise it's possible if you want it and once you get it it's worth holding on to because the #transformation is rewarding.

Trust and Believe!

If you want to do or achieve anything extraordinary in life, you have to get behind it 100%. Some days it'll be easy and some days it'll be the hardest thing ever but if you stay with it, you'll achieve what you were after. 
Slow down 🐌 🐌 🐌  or give up on the hard days and you'll never move forward or get there. 
With health and fitness, this looks like losing and gaining the same 5 pounds over and over again instead of reaching you're 20 pound goal our actually gaining strength and increased health.

Consistency and dedication pay off.

What the reset button looks like... As amazing as the ketogenic diet has been for me, my lactose intolerance is catching up with me & making me realize that adjustments need to be made.  I went to @sprouts last night & found a few lactose/dairy-free cheeses & hope that making the swaps (in addition to my Good Zymes) helps to alleviate the tummy probs I've been having for the past couple of weeks 🀞
