I went home for the weekend to see my parents, and I had a great weekend. We saw 2cellos play in Atlanta (super cool btw) and now I have a super busy two weeks ahead of me. This energizing green juice is the perfect way to start a busy week.

I think This time of year we all lack a little motivation as the dark nights start to draw in... We also get less hours of sunshine which as you know, gives us that extra energy boost.
Wouldn't it be amazing if we could bottle some sunshine and holiday glow from the summer months for all year round !?! So let's firstly think about setting some short term goals ie; little black dress, party season etc..
Set your goal, dust off your trainers and break that habit today.
Once you have set your mind to what you want to achieve then there's only you who can make it happen... Remember that just by exercising for 10 minutes will get fresh oxygenated blood and nutrients pumping around the body therefore working out for longer and more frequently will give you even more energy, regulate stress levels and give you that fabulous feeling that summer gives you ☀️ It's also important to vary your training with intense, to moderate exercise to some gentle deep breathing as variety is key to prevent boredom and to keep you enjoying your exercise with energy and enthusiasm.

Taking your workouts outdoor is also a great way to lift your mood as we don't get as much daylight this time of year so natural light is important for lifting the mood and boosting the immune system 😃

Exercising for 3/4 times per week with some form of activity, whether it's walking, running, HIIT training... will certainly set you back on the right health and fitness track... It's always fun to look back at pictures to see how much progress you've made 😆 I really cleaned up my diet and started giving a damn about training again. When I first became a personal trainer, I felt unmotivated to train myself after training my clients all day. Then one day I realized I could design my workouts however I wanted instead of being on a program, having to follow that every day. And that brought back my motivation to keep my workouts fun in the gym. Don't be stressed out about being on a program or not, just as long as you are getting your booty in the gym, that's really all that matters. Followed with some good compound movements of course 😇

No need to become something for them. The more of yourself you are the stronger the friendship. If you have to be something other than that to have them as a friend, then they're not worth keeping.

As you learn yourself and your friends, you will see the true diamonds from the coal. It's ok to make mistakes. Trusting a bad character is part of life. Those who fight for you will grow with you. Then your successes and identities will be a part of each other, a byproduct of you just being you.

It's been fab to have some returning clients and brand new clients in this week to help them with their current issues and help to prevent issues in future. I've had some great feedback and I'm so pleased that an hour of massage and only 30mins in some cases has managed to help so much.
