Blood & sweat.
Phenomenal work week on our action thriller #SkyscraperMovie.
Rehearsing with my co-star and one of Asia's greatest actors @thechinhan. The all glass floor we're walking on represents the top of the world's tallest skyscraper - below us will be a 3500ft drop, in the city of Hong Kong.
Physically/emotionally draining role for this original concept of a film. Humbling as well.
More to come. Onward. #SkyscraperMovie

Photo by Stephanie Sinclair @stephsinclairpix @tooyoungtowed // Kadiatu, a teenage obstetric fistula survivor,
reacts to being able to walk safely and independently with the use of splints on her feet. She was participating in "Fistula Camp" at the Aberdeen Women's Center in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Obstetric fistula is one of the most devastating and serious childbirth injuries and is the result of extreme pressure and tissue damage during prolonged or obstructed labor. When the fetus cannot fit through a mother’s pelvis due to her small stature stature, and if a Caesarean section delivery is not available to end the ordeal, the baby is usually stillborn and a fistula — or abnormal opening between the vagina and rectum or bladder — forms, resulting in severe incontinence. In many cases, like Kadiatu’s, women and girls can also experience peroneal nerve injury, resulting in leg weakness, foot drop and difficulty in walking. Those who attended the camp underwent surgeries to repair their fistulas, treat their decreased mobility, and improve their self-esteem.
This image is part of a 175-image exhibition titled “Too Young to Wed,” which is the inaugural exhibition at the new L’Arche du Photojournalisme, atop at the prestigious Grand Arche de la Defense in Paris, France. Many of the images were made #onassignment for @natgeo, including this one. The show ends tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 24, and is complete with educational information about the dangers of #childmarriage and the efforts underway around the world to end the practice – including our work at our nonprofit organization of the same name, @TooYoungToWed.

“The greatest artists, the most eternal artists, the ones that really have longevity, are the ones that were dedicated and devoted to their work and gave parts of themselves,” says Geoffrey Berliner, executive director of the nonprofit Penumbra Foundation (@penumbrafoundation). “Great art stems from great tension and great investigation and great suffrage and great living.” The New York City organization is on a mission to bring together the art and science of photography through programs and workshops for aspiring and veteran photographers, alike.
In the digital age of point, click, delete, repeat, he believes it’s more important than ever to preserve and explore archaic formats like tintype, one of the earliest (and most complicated) photo processes made popular in the 1860s, as a means to develop voice and creative literacy in the next generation’s great artists. Great art, Geoffrey believes, starts with story: “When you teach a kid comprehensive storytelling, that one kid can go forth and create work that can make a huge impact in the world.”
Watch our Instagram story to see Geoffrey and other artists in Brooklyn at Photoville, a pop-up village of shipping containers featuring photo exhibitions from all over the world.
