The Physicians, Nurses and Techs engaged with him and were so tickled by him and his interest in medicine. They made sure to let him know to check back with them in about 15yrs or to let them know if he needed a letter of recommendation *

Hi Ellen, I started a project called Mary’s Magical Place. It’s an inclusive playground, in memory of my 14 yr old neighbor. She had CP and was in a wheelchair her whole life. Can you imagine never being able to swing? Can you imagine being a parent and not being able to take your children to a playground? MMP will have 3 pieces of equipment someone in a wheelchair can enjoy without leaving their chair. The entire surface, will be poured in Place rubber, no mulch. The main play structure will ramped entirely, no steps. The community has been incredibly supportive. Please check us out on our Facebook page or website. We have raised $593,000 toward our goal of $800,000. Our deadline is October 31.
