Wearing pink make up, clothes, and anything pink, makes me so uncomfortable and i feel like pink looks cute on everyone but me!! (dont ask me why. i have no idea why it makes me uncomfortable) BUT you NEED to get out of your comfort zone.. because just outside of that comfort bubble, magic can happen and everything you ever wanted, could be right outside your bubble.. u just have to take a chance 🙂 Now I know this is only makeup, and its not that serious, but I felt like I needed to say that because it applies to everything in life.

I had my lip busted open accidentally (those of you who follow me on snapchat know this.. my Snapchat is @farahdhukai ) so its been really difficult to wear anything on my lips because it just irritated my cut. I wanted to try this face shield patch that ive been seeing on instagram, which i purchased off amazon (with my own money, not sponsored, just wanted to try it) Pretty much its a clear layer that you apply to your face before you put on the rest of your makeup and it protects your skin from “bacteria” and any makeup yuckies from getting into your skin if you have acne etc. -its a NO THANK YOU MAAM for me on the face because it ends up looking like your face is peeling off thruout the day, so i wanted to try it on my lips instead to see if it would shield my wound
MOISTURIZE YOUR LIPS FIRST!!! I used @farsalicare Rose Gold Elixir *use whatever u want, but i use this because it absorbs quickly and doesnt leave a residue on my lips so the peel off can work APPLY THE “SHIELD” I got this off amazon.. apply a thick layer all over and dont smack ur lips together.. as u can see its really sticky like glue so apply it quickly and wait for it to dry with ur mouth open (weird i know but it only takes a min to dry)
PUT ON YOUR LIPSTICK! Im wearing @hudabeauty JETSETTER liquid lipstick
PEEL OFF once your done with it and wanna remove it!
*I dont suggest using it for everyday, only if you have a cut or a sore that you want to protect and “shield” and also to keep your lipstick sanitary too if u have a cold sore. Another tip – Ive used this a couple times already (since this video) and found that its better as a “spot” patch instead of applying it all over your lips. If you do apply it all over your lips, skip the corners of your lips and youll be gucci. SMOOTH SPLIT ENDS FOR $1.50 SPLIT ENDS ARE SO ANNOYING!!! Don’t cut them off if you don’t have to and prolong your cut! I havent had a haircut in over 1 year.. NO not even a trim!!! This is what I do to smooth my split ends so I dont have to cut my hair as often.
Go to the grocery store. Get a can of whipped cream (full fat. REAL whipped cream – if youre vegan get coconut whipped cream) for $3 – I get two uses out of one can on my hair so each use = $1.50 and DONT EAT IT (unless u want to.. then get two cans)! Apply it to your hair and face and thank me later. No, im not trolling you. No, im not batsh*t crazy… it. works. wonders.
Apply the whipped cream to DRY HAIR before you shower.. DO NOT BRUSH IT THRU.. apply with ur hands and let it sit for 10 mins.

I rubbed my skin to show you that im not wearing makeup.. my skin felt so glowy and fresh and I let my hair AIR DRY with NO product in it to show you how smooth it looked afterwards! I tried to zoom in as close as I could so you can visually see that the split ends looked completely smooth!!
WHY THIS WORKS:
Whipped cream has an ingredient in it derived from seaweed! It is EXTREMELY moisturizing and helps to smooth the hair cuticle and help make your split ends smoother .. it is the BEST conditioner ever!!
Cream is full of FAT and PROTEIN and is so hydrating, which again, help smooth the hair and skin and give both the love they need
it also contains lactic acid which is great for gently exfoliating your skin to give you a beautiful radiant glow

I applied the cream all over my lid in 2 layers. First a light wash and then a second layer of the cream to make it intense. Then I took the powder shadow and dabbbed it on top, on the crease too and in the inner corner. This legggit looks like your lids are wet in real life but it wont crease on you or melt off

GROW YOUR HAIR 2X FASTER!!!
Yep you read right. The AVERAGE amount of hair growth per year is 6 inches….This is how I GROW MY HAIR OVER 12 inches… pretty much DOUBLING the growth!!
Of course results vary from person to person, but this is an inexpensive method and works wonders! ALL YOU NEED:
Coconut Oil (or any oil you prefer) -this is solid at room temperature so I warmed it up to a liquid
Cayenne Pepper Powder
Use a jar with a lid!
I used a 16oz mason jar and filled half with coconut oil with 2 heaping tablespoons of cayenne powder – mix
seal/cover the jar and store the mixture in a cool dark place for 1 week
After one week give the oil a mix and then strain so theres no “powder” in the mix
THE OIL WILL NOW BE RED OIL!
SAVE THE STRAINED CAYENNE POWDER! Ill show you how to use it in a laterrrrrrrrrrr video!
I poured my oil into a squeeze bottle that I can constantly reuse!
Apply the oil to your SCALP ONLY!
This is oil infused with cayenne and it will slightly sting. The sting is the capsaicin doing its job .. do a test patch first to see how your skin handles it!
For me PERSONALLY, I barely feel anything!
Massage onto your scalp and leave it on overnight (if you can handle it), or for as long as you possibly can! I let it get onto my forehead so I can stimulate my edges/babyhair (use gloves if your sensitive) wash it out with shampoo after you’re done
DO NOT PUT THIS ALL OVER YOUR FACE! I personally think cayenne is TOO STRONG to apply all over your face!
Use this mixture as often as you can -at least once a week!

WHY THIS WORKS!
The main ingredient that does the work here is CAYENNE PEPPER –
it contains capsaicin which helps to stimulate hair growth
if you have “lazy” hair follicles that dont grow hair as fast – the capsaicin helps to boost their growth as well to get you more VOLUME and THICKNESS
hair grows faster when your blood circulation increases to your follicles
increased blood circulation = FAST and HEALTHY hair growth!

CHANGE YOUR FACE SHAPE with the PERFECT HAIRLINE!
Perfect hairline = extra AF ..but if ur gorilla hairy like i am, your hairyness ends up taking over ur entire life!! my baby hairs have taken over my forehead and because theres so much hair, it gives the illusion that my face shape is a pear – i CHANGE MY FACESHAPE from looking like a pear to an oval, just by fixing my hairline!
This is a simple natural wax recipe that is super inexpensive to make, lasts forever and can be used TWO ways.
Option #1 you can use it as a liquid consistency with a muslin cloth like “traditional wax”
OR
Option #2 you can let the wax cool a little and use it with NO STRIPS (this is the way I use it cuz its quicker and easier and I like easy)
To make the wax:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp lemon juice (or vinegar)
2 tbsp water
mix
heat in microwave for a total of 6 mins, but stop every 1 min to stir (it should be the colour of maple syrup once its done)
tip: i use pyrex bowls and i always use a bowl bigger than what i need cuz this boils and rises up pretty fast/high
let it cool and then use as #1 or #2
Steps for the perfect hairline
1 tie your hair into a tight pony
2 brush the hair you want to remove forward – trim the long ones with scissors cuz long hair + wax = oh no baby what is you doing
3 apply cornstarch so it doesnt hurt as bad
4 hold your hair back and apply wax to hair you want gone
5 bye unwanted hair – i dont wax the baby hairs in the middle cuz I like it lookin natural
If you want the most perfect hairline on earth that makes ur hair look super thick and full use toppix to fill in the gaps. These are tiny little fibres that look like hair!! Perfect for little bald spots too! Looks way more natural than filling in with eyeshadow. You can get this at sallys beauty supply. (cover your face while spraying these on! – use a shield, ur finger, anything u find)
Hairspray to lock them in place and BOOM your hairline will look perfect and your hair will look SO thickkkkkkkkkkk and full

GET RID OF DRY, FRIZZY HAIR + DRY SKIN FOR LESS THAN $6!

Im in New York right now and INYC but it has made my skin have random dry patches (and when i first got here.. i was covered in acne which is why i have two left over dots on my cheeks!!) my hair has been feeling dry too! Unfortunately, I couldnt bring my “DIY potions” cuz the way airport customs is set uppppppp..its hard to explain what my random bottles of liquids are… so I ran to whole foods and grabbed a bottle of AGAVE to rescue me!

ALL YOU NEED:
AGAVE – 1 bottle is $6 and it gives me 3 uses.. so each use is $2!!
Apply this to your hair AFTER shampooing (while its wet) and apply onto clean skin. I do TWO layers on the skin
Wash it off your face and hair with water only!!NO CLEANSERS!! Water temp is whatever u prefer-not ice cold
I have been using agave as a conditioner after shampooing for years (i dont use a regular conditioner..ever) to give my hair moisture and make it soft! I leave a bottle in the shower 🙂
Youll have the softest most hydrated skin EVER and your hair will be the same!
I let my hair AIR DRY so you can see JUST HOW SHINY, FRIZZ FREE AND HYDRATED it is WITH NO PRODUCT AND NO STYLING!!
WHY THIS WORKS:

Ive seen these patches all over social media while people are doing their make up, so I thought id DIY them for less than $10 to make and you can use it over 40 times! Each use is like a couple cents!! vs. $20+ to buy one time use!! They stay in place so you can do your eye make up while they decrease puffiness + dark circles and brighten those under eyes up to look fresh and awake! ps. you wont see a drastic before and after ON ME -because a sis is just here tryna help the fam. I dont have super puffy eyes + my dark circles have been pretttttty good lately *knock on wood ..ya girl been sleepin gewwwwwd..* the ingredients are MAJOR for those of you who have puffiness and dark circles – Even if you don’t have dark circles or puffy eyes, this is a great preventative/ treatment!
ALL YOU NEED:
WATER (i used 1/2 cup)
BLACK TEA or COFFEE -HIGH caffeine is key
POTATO STARCH (i used 1tbs)
Steep black tea in hot water
once its brewed add potato starch
Let it start to boil – AS SOON AS you see bubbles on the outer part its DONE.
Mix together to create a jelly
DO NOT OVER BOIL. this process takes LESS than 5 mins
Transfer your mixture to a bowl (something with a lid so u can store leftovers for later) let it cool
Apply on undereyes and do your eye make up or whatever you wanna do while it sits there
Peel off and gooooo. no mess.
WHY THIS WORKS:
CAFFIENE is the MAIN ingredient in a lot of under eye creams/patches because it instantly awakens the undereye (its an anti-inflammatory) and reduces puffiness significantly.
it also increases circulation, is an antioxidant and fills in and plumps any lines/wrinkles under the eye, and reduces dark circles
Potato starch nourishes the skin while allowing the undereye to suck in all that goodness from the caffeine. Its also the ingredient that helps this eye patch stay in place

1 INGREDIENT TO GET RID OF DULL DRY SKIN + DRY ITCHY SCALP!
My scalp and skin get so dry + itchy cuz that cold winter wind just slaps you! Dont cash me ousside in this weather how bow dah. Here’s how to treat the dry itchiness

ALL YOU NEED:
GOAT MILK – if you are vegan, use RICE MILK To make it thicker I use a natural thickening agent (xantham gum) cuz filming this is very messy, you dont NEED it, cuz you should be doing this in the tub or sink.
Apply the milk to your scalp (apply it all over your hair if your just using the milk. I soaked my hair in the milk after i filmed this process.. i couldnt show that on camera cuz i didnt want my floor to be covered in goat milk lol) #diystruggle
Apply the rest to your face as a mask
LEAVE BOTH on for min 10 minutes
Wash it off in shower – use a mild shampoo if youre mixing it with xantham gum. If youre JUST using the milk, then you can skip shampoo. Do what makes you feel comfortable 🙂
Your skin will feel so soft, the dry patches will be gone and it wont be itchy anymore! Youll also have a glow that will last for days!
Sadly, I cant show itch on the gram, but after I used this there was no scalp itch and it felt nice and clean and my hair felt amazing. My dry patches in my chin were gone too!

LIGHTEN, EXFOLIATE and PLUMP LIPS!

I noticed a lot of you asking for something for discoloured lips, and for a gentler lip plumper so here is a great recipe that is gentle, but powerful.

All you need:
PLAIN yogurt – if you are vegan, use AGAVE Ground Black Pepper – enough to get a scrub
I use a metal chopstick to poke at my lips gently to get the blood juices flowing. You can use a fork too but dont stab, just gentle pokes.
Apply the mixture all over your lips and exfoliate. Use the scrub OUTSIDE the line of your lips as well. This is going to help pucker them up
Leave on for 1-2 mins – it gets warm, but no burn, or intolerable sting. Its really gentle.
Wipe off and immediately moisturize. Like always, im using my @farsalicare Rose Gold Elixir, but use any moisturizer youre comfortable with. ^^^^^ I lightly pinch and “smack” my lips with my finger to help boost circulation for moisturized, crust free lips.
Apply a lip colour. or dont. I didnt.
Yogurt – helps moisturize and soothe the lips. Also contains lactic acid which exfoliates the top layer or skin to help promote the growth of new cells. Also fills in lines and wrinkles for my fellow wrinkly lip fam out there
Black pepper – Natural antibiotic high in vitamin C for brightening.

Let cool slightly and apply thick layer to entire face
let it dry completely (takes about 10 minutes)
Peel the mask off from top down or bottom up..i prefer top down but im not tryna tell you how to live your life so do it however you want.. peel it from the side or in pieces. The options are limitless!! ALSO. DONT FEAR! It does not pull on your hair, baby hair, eyebrows, lashes, mustache, etc

LIP NEEDLING AT HOME
How I made my lips BIGGER and PINKER without fillers
Those of you who have been following me for a long time have noticed that my lips arent as brown/pigmented as they used to be and theyre MUCH larger -My top lip was much smaller than my bottom. I get asked a lot if I have had fillers..Not gonna lie, Ive thought about getting fillers, but decided to try THIS alternate method instead and I LOVE IT! DERMAROLL YOUR LIPS FAM!!
I started dermarolling my lips 3 years ago and have never thought about filler ever again!
IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE your micro needles are 0.5mm – NO BIGGER (I get my roller from amazon)
STEP 1: ALWAYS CLEAN your needles with alcohol and let it dry FIRST. Never use a roller that hasn’t been sanitized first – it can have adverse reactions and cause infection.
STEP 2: Apply a serum or treatment. I use @farsalicare Volcanic Elixir because it has helped lighten my lips significantly but use whatever you feel comfortable with
‍♀️STEP 3: stretch your lips so it’s more comfortable to needle. Then use a light hand and start rolling. I roll horizontally first. Then vertically. Then diagonally and then you’re done. *you are needling your lips so of course it hurts (for me it doesn’t hurt much cuz I’m used to it, but first time users it might hurt more depending on your pain tolerance)* DO THIS ONCE A MONTH
You will see bigger, plump, and pinker lips over time. Results don’t happen over night with this, but you do get a slight plump initially. This is what I have preferred instead of getting fillers cuz I personally love large plump lips, so I thought I would share my routine PS. I’m just sharing what has worked for me. Please keep the name calling and rude comments to yourself. Do your own research on what’s best for YOU.
Why this works:
Microneedling makes tiny little pricks into your skin to “injure” it to help boost collagen production and help repair and regenerate itself. For me, doing this in conjunction with something that helps lighten lips over time has made my lips much pinker and fuller. like this video for more and share it with a friend who wants bigger lippies

Apply gold to face with the paper its on. DONT touch it otherwise its a waste/fail
Leave on 30 mins – gently rub in with oil (without using oil it jus balls up and flakes off)

GOLD LEAF ON CLEAN SKIN – NO OIL
-it doesnt stick as well onto a clean face
-it does NOT rub into your skin without the help of an oil or moisturizer. -it looks great as a real 24k gold POPPIN highlight on top of makeup but if youre using it for skincare, you have the RUB TF out of ur face to get it off and that just defeats the purpose, cuz rubbing = sagging/aging skin
RESULTS: the Oil/Serum is what gives you a glow/hydrated skin. The gold looks cool ASF but its VERY hard to work with and you have to have cat like reflexes in order to not ruin the gold leaf and make it go to waste. I literally had to hold my breath at times so the leaf wouldnt fold and fly away.
TBH It looks cool on the gram but cool is as good as it gets cuz the gold leaf is not very effective on its own cuz of how hard it is to apply If you REALLY want to try the gold leaf facial, do yourself a favour and save a TON of money and just buy the gold leaf off amazon. *Make sure its edible gold leaf and its 23k gold or higher*
ps. dont eat it, its edible but it tastes like what it is: METAL.
