Cómo alcanzar la serenidad para ser feliz?

1. Tener ocupaciones es agradable, sin embargo, estar permanentemente ocupado resulta angustioso. Es importante liberar la agenda de actividades estableciendo una diferencia entre aquellos objetivos prioritarios y aquellos que son secundarios.

2. Libérate del exceso de perfeccionismo que roba la paz a partir de esa exigencia interior constante.

3. Aparta de tu vida aquello que sobra porque constantemente se convierte en motivo de preocupación.
4. Conviene aceptar la pérdida como un hecho natural en la existencia humana. Las pérdidas duelen pero también aportan fortaleza emocional.
5. Abre las puertas de la novedad, anímate a emprender nuevas aventuras, no te quedes estancado en la zona de confort.

6. Anímate a dar las gracias con más frecuencia. Pero el ejercicio de la gratitud solo tiene verdadero valor cuando se realiza de corazón.
7. No pongas tu valor personal en los éxitos o en los fracasos porque tu valor es el mismo más allá de cuál sea el resultado de tus acciones.

8. Concédete el placer de ser vulnerable. Llorar no es un signo de debilidad sino un signo de sabiduría emocional.

9. Acepta a tus amigos tal y como son. En caso contrario, surge la frustración.

Perspective. I stumbled across some public art in Boston a few weeks back that played tricks on the brain’s interpretation of distance.

Meaningful message: I was recently told that I’m a “glass-half-full” kind of person. I sat with that same person at the RMV for nearly two hours. The RMV isn’t fun. Looking around, most people seemed bored, cranky, or upset. The outcome of any situation will depend on your perspective, and how you choose to behave (either internally or externally). We chose to perform a handful of window sill tricep dips, mimicked the overhead announcer’s robotic voice, and joked about anything (a.k.a. we half-glassed it).

Many people have told me that I will get more clients by branding myself a coach, but I feel that if I don’t have the courage to stand by myself as a psychotherapist, why should my clients muster up the courage to come and see me? ? • I’m wild about serving youths and individuals with body image / self esteem issues. Definitely part of my future goal to work more in these two sectors ❤️
